A-FRAMES

SCALDON has extensive experience in the design of fixed and telescopic A-frames, for any kind of application, including load handling (such as plough anchors or buoys) at sea, geotechnical surveys or gathering seismic data. The A-frames we deliver can be provided complete with winches including umbilical cords and/or hoisting cables,  and with special features such as active heave compensation (AHC) and constant tension (CT), etc. To operate the A-frames, an applicable hydraulic power unit (HPU) can be installed in a container on deck or inboard the vessel.
